It was another glorious occasion on Saturday at Two by Two in honour of
National Wear a Ballgown Day.
As in previous years, (see here and here) the streets of Ulverston were treated to some traditional glamour as Ladies and Gents stepped out on our red carpet in all their finery..

The dress code for the day included tiaras...
but footwear was freestyle
Princesses came ...
and royal dignitaries
even an actual Royal Family! (of unknown kingdom)
Up in the Highlands, Two by Two customer Sue Wiggins proved that National Wear a Ballgown Day is possible anywhere
(She opted for a bobble hat tiara on account of the midges)
This year I fashioned my ball gown from galaxy print duck tape...
and went for an interplanetary headpiece

All all in all it was an Out of this World affair!
