Yesterday Ulverston hosted its second in a series of 4 Super Saturdays ...the first Saturday of the month offering the chance to take in the delights of Ulverston and park for the whole day for only £1.20!!!
yes I KNOW its a crazy bargain...not to be missed and I felt it warranted a special celebratory outfit ....
I was thinking along the theme of roads and parking in general for this outfit so I DIY'ed myself some snappy double yellow lined trousers (dead easy anyone could do it only black trousers and yellow electrical tape required)...I must admit I ran out of said tape half way through the project so it was single yellow lined and free parking from the behind
and it was bumper to bumper joy in the hat department
At the shop we stuck with the motoring theme and offered Super Saturday terraffic snacks.....
and offered top prizes in our Super Saturday Quiz (everybody loves a quiz)...
All in all most people coming through the door were cheered by my outfit and overall, I felt it had been a success....
if there was any downfall to report it was with the actual hat. While it looked jolly, it was probably a bit too heavy
and as the day wore on gravity got the better of it
.....once it started there was no stopping it
and by day end I really had to think on my feet
..... I decided best thing to do was just to have a lie down.
