Tomorrow is the start of the Green Door Art Trail where artists all over South Lakeland will exhibit their work from the comfort of their own homes. Tina Balmer will show her work in the Rusland Valley alongside Chris Benefield and Angie Flynn. I was lucky enough to buy a painting by Tina a couple of Art Trails ago. I have it in my kitchen and really love it. Even when my kitchen is at its worst the painting gives it class . Its called Magnolia......

Magnolia is part of the beige family and normally I'm with Novelist, Linda Grant who claims ".....during a recession one should never wear beige....." Tina's painting however illustrates how beige can come alive....even on a misty, murky, grey morning.... with a pop of pink!

Have your very own Mary Poppins moment, popping in and out of pictures, when you follow the Green Door Art Trail......

Pick up a brochure at Two by Two.
